Spray Paints
« on: July 24, 2009, 01:45:13 pm »
Hi All I was just looking for some advice really!  :)

I was wondering if anyone has painted parts of thier gun? and did it work well?

I don't want to have fork out upto £100 on a conversion kit when I can just paint the parts I have the colour I want. BUT before I do this I was just wondering if it was worth a go? Or has anyone tried this and failed horribly?

Thanks :)

Apologies for not really answering your question, but if you're going to paint, use krylon. I've got some in the garage you can have a go with, if you want. Tan, Brown, and OD green.

I'd say that it would be a bad idea to do that. You give the impression that you are under 18 and spraying a two tone is a bad idea

Yes, it would be a bad idea to paint a two-tone as we don't allow painted two-tones on DV. That said, if it's not a two-tone then speak to Ellis on here as he does some rather fine digi camo paint jobs.

You're bit entitled to the defence as you're under 18.

Wait for 4 years sadly.

just grab some scrimnet, as long as it can be removed for when you go home it's alright, and hides the green really well.
