well, im used to lugging airrifles around!

I have found another gun that takes my fancy!

H&K MP5 By "TOKYO MARUI"

EG1000 motor as standard and is generally better built and heavier than the standard MP5A5.

?174.99

But with that, i also need to buy the "x" pack. As an extra for the battery and charger

When you buy any Tokyo Marui electic Rifle, get a starter pack (X PACK) for only 99.99gbp
This includes one battery which is either 2 600mah small or 2 1700mah large, size of which is dependent on the rifle you purchase, a trickle charger, high capcity magazine (200-600rds dependant on rifle you purchase), Silicone spray (this you will need for maintenance), and a bottle of .20g 3000 BBs.

This gives a saving of 20-30 pounds!!!

And that is ?99.99

Can I point out that there are much cheaper places to buy that gun, the retailer you are looking at are not known for being the cheapest. For about a tenner more you could get an ICS MP5, or look on somewhere like zero-one and you'll get the same gun for ?154.99. The same goes again for that X-pack which isnt a saving at all comparing to some other retailers prices

1. Does my gaurdian need to actually come "shooting" with me or can they stay somewhere and watch

2. is it a certain event that needs to be booked, or just come and go?

The MP5A5 uses what are referred to as mini batteries, you'll probably want a couple to last you all day. That package from Wolf seems way over priced, try pricing the same stuff up on Zero One or Airsoft Armoury.

Your guardian just has to be on site, so they can play (they'd have to pay) or spectate (which is free). We'll happily provide them with a face mask and orange vest if they want to come out and spectate.

You have to book a specific event via the website, there are no walk-ons at DV. Due to the nature of the site we have to ensure that we have a record of who everyone is.

How do you mean? You mean like to become a member of one of the regular teams that play at DV? The way to do that is to show up to a few games, get to know people, prove you're not a tool and then you'll probably be invited to join a team. Some players prefer not to be part of a specific team at all.

i mean, if i book then will it just be "me" running around, or will it be more people.

And When I Say Teams I Mean
Like split into groups with who ever is there.

And How Long Do You Get For The ?20?

I did wonder if that was what you meant...

At the start of the day all the players are split into two (or sometimes three) equal teams. We try to divide the solo players and first timers equally across the teams to make it fair for everyone. We're not just going to set you off one your own to face a horde of seasoned players, we pride ourselves on being very new-player friendly.

For ?20 you are getting all day, 9-5. Gates open at 9am so you need to arrive before that, once signin and chrono is done there's a safety brief for all players and the first game is usually at 10:30. There are generally 8 or 9 25-30 minute games in a day. Lately we've been throwing in a 60-90 minute regen game after lunch, which some people like and some people don't. Overall, I reckon pretty decent value for ?20 compared to going to the football or something like that.

The more the merrier, as long as you play by the rules and don't cause me any problems then you can book 50 on if you like!

One of the nice things about airsoft is that once people are all kitted up it's very hard to tell what age anyone is, so as I said, as long as you're not acting like a prize tool it's all good. Not sure where we stand with regard to your guardian acting as guardian to your friend however, I'll need to check that.
