9.6v battery
« on: August 04, 2010, 08:57:47 pm »
Want to increase rof on my aeg, can I simply switch to 9.6 or will this cause my internals to explode? ( in my gun, not personaly, that would just be silly.) I have a downgraded cyma thompson.

This is actually something I was considering as I'm thinking of upgrading to Li-po. I was wondering to what extent I should upgrade? Shims, piston, spring guide, gears, motor? I really want a high ROF so I want to do it right.

Go lipo and never look back. :)
A 7.2v gets fire rates equivalent to a 9.6v Ni-MH.

Anyway, Im not sure how strong Cyma internals are so Im really not sure if you need to upgrade anything.
