THE SEIGE.
15th October 2006.
Reports Of The Missile Silo has been taken over.
Two Different Gangs At War Over A Small Missle Silo in South-Wales Has Led To An Assault Squad Being Sent To Take Over The Site.
Truth Is, No One Knows How Bad It Is.

The Black Gang
Are At War With The Green Gang, After The Green Gand Led An Assault On The Black Gangs HQ. They Went Crazy And Took Over The Silo To Destroy The Green Gang Once And Forall, After That, They Plan On Making The Overtaken Site There New HQ.

They Are Spread Out Around The Site. A Small Group In The Howitzer, Defending The Attacking Green Gang, Coming In At Full Force,
The Bunker, Keeping Watch Of The Ramp Building.
While The Black Gang Are Setting Up The Missile Launch.

The Green Gang
The Green Gang Started This All off, from attacking The HQ Of The Black Gang, To Kidnapping And Murdering The Black Gangs Weapon Links.
Because Of This, The Green Gang Have Gotten Into A Deep Mess.
Having Their Hq Blown Up.

They have led an assault on the black gang, trapping a small number in the howitzer, and are also attacking the sam site (the missile silo) But Not Realising A small Amount Of Black Gang Are Hiding In The Bunker Leads To A Big War, Based Around The Sam Site. (after a small time of waiting, the assault squad comes in, with guns blazing, to take down the both of the gangs, and neutralise the threat - in that ammount of time, the gangs should be small enough, to keep a fair fight)

The Assault Squad
A Team of Specially Trained Fighters, That Excell all In Weapon Combat.
Has Been Dropped In My Chopper, Right Into The Mess, They Take Refuge In The Caves. Until They Get A Signal That The Gangs Are Small Enough To Neutalise.

As Soon As The Signal is Set, The Timer Starts, And Counts Down From _ _ - _ _
The Assault Squad Needs To Take Out The Gangs blocking The Way, Defuse The Missile And Destroy The Rest of The Gangs.

If The Black Gang Dies Before The Assault Squad, Attack, They must destroy The rest of the green gang and defuse the missile, which would now be pointed at black base.

If The Green Gang Dies Before The Assault Squad, Attack, They must destroy The rest of the Black Gang And Defuse The Missile, Which Would Now Be Pointed At Green Base.

If The Assault Squad Die, Or Dont Defuse The Missile In Time, The Mission is lost.

Speaking from the position of having written pretty much every DV event for the last two years, with a handful of exceptions I'd have to say that needs a little work to be usable. There are some things that work really well as game scenarios and others that we've tried in the past and found just aren't fun or don't pan out as you'd expect. I'd recommend playing a fair few events to get a good idea of what works and what doesn't and then revisit this idea.

I'm always keen to have other people write events as it saves me a huge amount of time.

You see,  the problem is that getting people who've paid to play and want to play by their own style to follow a particular route or stand around for ten minutes while the game is going on for other players just never works. A lot of the ideas in your game plan there are more role-play oriented than what we run on a normal game day. I can email you some past events if you would like to see the format that we usually run to.

I quite like really complicated scenarios, they confuse away the unworthy.

Actually, our normal scenarios confuse people enough, mainly due to the fact that people don't tend to listen to our briefings.  So increasing the complexity by any amount more than 'simple' would make some of our less patient clientelle's heads explode, from past experience.
