Does anyone have experience of the A&K M249? Are they reliable? Do bits fall off them? Thanks all

I have one, had it well over a year and it's been well used. Only problem I've had was a gear fail, which could happen with any AEG. They are very reliable and robust and reasonably easy to work on should you get a problem.
Damn, I'm good!!

In order to get mine working I had to..
- Replace all the gears after they broke within 2min of using the thing
- Change the spring due to insane fps
- Install a CA Hopup Unit
- Change the wiring as it kept blowing a fuse
- replace the barrel as bbs got jammed in there
- Mess around with the trigger as it had a habit of staying stuck on fire

Once that was all sorted though it worked fine and I had lots of fun with it until I decided it was too fruitopian heavy to carry around all day and swapped if for something lighter.

Thanks all. I've seen a preowned one at a reasonable price - I was exercising caution before approaching the seller.
