Help, need a side arm
« on: May 23, 2012, 07:12:44 pm »
hi,

i have recently got into airsofting and i am looking to get a gun for my B-Day. already chosen a primary weapon: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?cPath=268_318_403&products_id=5776&osCsid=7149900e5bc035053dbd8df95a8924bc

i have looked up a good battery and everything, but i need a side arm. do i go gas, or electric, what power should i look at, what type of gas is best, and all that kinda stuff. i have looked at a few and i like the M92 style, but also like Glock's and a very big fan of the Deagle. really need help as i dont know much about airsoft.

also, does anybody know where any military shops are in cardiff?

(im 15, 16 in september, so i will also have to have 2 tone)

And how to you propose to purchase said items? Seeing as you're not 18 yet.
the french have suggested that they arm the Libyan rebels
I can see it now....
Libyan Rebel: "how does it work?"
French soldier: "hey nonny nonnied, firmly if I know, we just drop it and run away"

The gun is totally down to you, however we can give you guidance on the make. For gas, WE is best if you are looking for a GBB at a reasonable price and decent quality. As for two tone I dont really know ^-^, but from what I know if someone over 18 purchases it for you and you have not given any money towards the purchase and gifts it to you, you are within line.

As for the Dester Eagle... I own a KWA USP match which is a reasonably large pistol, it looks cool but it sure as hell is not practical because of its size, the only time I use it is for the pistol games. Its down to you but I would recommend looking into a smaller GBB such as a Glock, 1911 or Beretta.

Gas wise, well this is one big field. You could stick to named brand gasses such as green gas etc. etc. but most go to propane as its cheaper to buy in bulk, however it smells fruitopian awful. If you do go to propane you will need an adapter like this one: http://bit.ly/L9N3Nc

If you are looking for military clothing then its best to head online, the best store for tac-gear is here: http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/

There is a gun store in Cardiff. Ask Andy (Couger) about antics on here or: http://on.fb.me/KQpxC7

It is/isnt propane as they add stuff to it, mostly so it does not smell of fowl ass. You can get propane from pretty much any hardware store in the UK
