South Wales/Bristol Airsoft Team
« on: December 16, 2012, 09:18:21 pm »
A friend and I are looking to put together a team in the South East Wales/Bristol area. We are looking for people aged between 16 and 18/19 of any experience to join us. All that we ask is that you are dedicated to the sport and are able to acquire some of your own MTP BDUs (and hopefully, if you don't already have one, a gun); having your own gun and gear will benefit both you and us but is not essential. We do not envisage having any strict rules as to the model of guns and gear used by members of the team, but we would prefer tan/desert/khaki/coyote brown as opposed to OD/digital for gun accessories (stocks, rail covers, pistol grip etc.). The same goes for PCs, although black is not encouraged. Again, these are not essential, merely preferable.

There are a couple of fields that are nearby for us to play at - Dragon Valley Airsoft, C3 Tactical, Black Ops Cribbs, Spartan Airsoft, Task Force Skirmish and Bristol Airsoft. These are not set in stone, although they are the closest fields to us. We will use Dragon Valley the majority of the time as it is the most convenient and enjoyable of the sites.

If anyone is interested in joining, or would like some more information, please send me a PM and leave a post in this thread.

Also worth noting that we won't allow MTP to be used at DV until it becomes available through legal surplus channels.

Thanks for the heads up. Do they have a website of some sort? Can't seem to find anything on them.

Doubt that will be a problem as we'll be getting people together and getting to know each other before we go out as a team. Do you know roughly when it might become available, though?

The whole airsoft scene is too saturated with Multicam and its various derivatives. Go for something that will make you stand out from the crowd:

It's a given that using camouflage in airsoft is as effective as a solar panel in Wales so you might as well do this.

Also, it'll match the inevitable 2-tones.

You are right that there is too much multicam; might rethink that.

I only have a month of two-tone'ness' left, thankfully, so maybe not something as bright  :)

Good, because I was kind of regretting giving away such an awesome idea. I'm kinda fired up for doing it myself!!
