General Discussion / Acceptable Behaviour Outside of Airsoft Sites
« on: February 06, 2011, 07:45:31 pm »
Question: what is acceptable behavoir outside of an airsoft site?

Generally all of us wear elements of all of our camoflage clothing on the way to and from the site, and ofetne stop at purveyors of food in the morning to stock up on fuel for the body or at the end of the day to replenish our fule supplied and to feel good.

Question: is it really acceptable to wear tactical gear into a public place, such as a non descript fats food cahin store?

the worry is that there is aboslutly no need to be wearing a tac vest whilst in a car on theway home, and it is only a stones throw away from wearing a tac vest into a burger bar, to carrying a RIF into such an establishment.

just for information the 'real steel' professionals even ditch all of thier own kit - even when on exercise, to go into a service station or a food emporium. is there a lesson that could be learned there.

Airsofting is a sport under scrutiny all the time, do we really want to draw unwelcome attention to is by such careless acts?

To those who know no better it might be cool, but please think about the thousands of airsofters that you are bringing under the spotlight by your actions.

« on: December 18, 2008, 06:58:58 pm »
Jus t a question before the weekend -

like the new chrono system of having the gun body marked uo so you can tell if its been 'tampered with or altered'

the question is - on sunday, what is the chrono process for those with the stickers, do we go to chronoing and show the marshall with the tick board the seals still in tact?

over to you guys -

I have just been on to 6 Mil to order some bits only to find that they have ceased trading as 6 Mil and Stuart has left. They are still trading under a new name (idiot me forgot to note it) and service is as usual for anyone using them. Name and management chage took effect 31/07/08 -01/08/08

To all those pistolero's out here, I need some help and advice. I have just purchased myself a brand new shiny black KWC Sig P226 (Gas) (with a red nose - either from comic releif or because it is coming from one of our colonies). It only has on magazine with it and i think i am going to neeed more. the question is - does any Sig P226 (Gas) Magazine fit any pistol or does it have to be the same manufacturer?

A huge thank you to the DV crea and all of the marshall's. it looks like things wnet a bit smoother this weekend and those with the 'hot' guns seem to have listened to what was being said and sorted themseleves out.

The marshalling was quite tight today but made the gameplay all the better for it.

 :bravo:

Well done!!!

General Discussion / AEG gearbox problems
« on: May 23, 2008, 09:34:36 pm »
:( iwonder if any of you have any ides that could help me out. I have a prblem with TM G36C gearbox. it started last week when i trimmed a little bit off of the spring to reduce the FPS. since then I have rebuilt the gearbox and it runs fine, the spring appears to be producing a great amount of pressure, but htis is not getting to the nozzle. with the gearbox fitted it is only enough ooomph to fire about 2 or 3 metres.
I'd really appreciate some help.
