General Discussion / Dragon Valley briliant

Wondering why this thread hasn't been made yet.

A long LONG hiatus from airsoft ended on Sunday. Glad to see DV and it's marshaling is still as cracking as ever.

After a week of looking around my house, I think I might have left an MOE stock and buffer tube at Dragon Valley. Has anybody found it?

General Discussion / TM VSR with super SOUND SYSTEM
« on: October 11, 2013, 03:40:36 pm »
Is this what "innovation" means in airsoft these days? Paying $445.00 for a old rifle with a "new" crappy "gun-sound" system that makes it sound like an 80's kid's toy whenever you pull the trigger?

Great day! Thanks to everyone involved, especially to Martin, Neil, and Graham for preventing my cooking to death.
Great fun was had, although I was not impressed by the pistol team in the last game who didn't take up my offer to present their best man to defeat me in a battle of hand to hand combat, as I had no weapon apart from two plastic knives.
No.
They just shot me.  :D

The Gearbox / Tanio Koba One Touch Silencer Adapter
« on: June 27, 2013, 11:12:51 am »
I just bought this silencer adapter for my Desert Warrior from Elite Shooting Centre
http://www.eliteshootingcentre.co.uk/Gas%20Guns/Gas%20Pistol%20Parts/Items/TK%20One%20Touch.htm

It's designed to cut it's own thread into the outer barrel of the D.Warrior, but I can't for the life of me keep it straight.
Then after Googling, it looks like a specialised tool is required to keep it straight when installing, as depicted here -
http://www.taniokoba.co.jp/onetouchi_join.html

My question is, does anyone have this tool? Or is there another way I can get this thing to cut a thread while keeping it straight?

Most people wish for two things. One is world peace. The other is for a video, about 9 minutes and 49 seconds long, of all the best scenes from a Bollywood movie about an Indian-made lean mean fat-reducing killing machine going about his business whilst all the displayed words are in English, all the actors speak in Indian, and there is an overdubbed translation in Russian.

Well, your second wish has been fulfilled.

W.o.T. is a free WW2 tank MMO that is currently in closed beta. I've been playing it and I must say it's a great game.

Applying for Closed Beta wasn't that hard but you can also get a beta key by checking out this page - http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/forum-15/announcement-17-beta-keys-available-here/

Featuring two rabbits with MOLLE, an SR47, an M14 EBR and a Russian gunship.

Gotta love the Japanese.  :lol (by which I mean that nothing is funny, and I tried to beat the swear filter and failed!):

The customs charge and the charge the PF slap on are very much different, aren't they? (Ordered a single CD from overseas and it's now being held with an £11.62 customs charge on it), but when I go HERE to pay the fee -

http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content2?catId=400046&mediaId=37000674

It implies that custom charges are Parcelforce fees, and clicking the link brings me to the PF website.

Pissed? Yes I am.
