General Discussion / Where to sell used items?
« on: May 04, 2019, 08:16:40 am »
Hi all,

It’s been a while!

I’ll keep this short!

Due to circumstances in my health and such throughout last year and moving forward I am unable to participated in airsoft events for the foreseeable future!

That being said I need to raise some money and would like to sell my airsoft inventory but not sure where!!

I was hoping to sell here as it’s moderated very well but notice there is no buy/sell/trade forum anymore!

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Many thanks

Awesome day indeed, photo's look amazing, some good shots of me, if i do say so myself  :laughsoutloud:.

The new area, or what i saw of it was amazing, can i just put my 2 pence worth in though... the open area between the 2 middle buildings i think would be better left alone with no cover. Currently there isnt an big open ground area, and i think keeping it open will encourage team work/comunication and using the flanks, and it also looks awesome to see a line of people walking across it  :D (just my opinion, please dont rip into me if you think its stupid).

Thanks again DV team, looking forward to the next time (17/04)

Hi guys, If you like i will produce a (non-google) map for you, it might take a few days as im a busy bee atm! but give me some time and i'll see what i can come up with!

Would you like the interior of the buildings mapped? if not i might just come up with another map details the schematics of building, you could then print both and have them back to back and laminate them, field worthy maps :D

Baring in mind this will not include the new area, whcih was played yesterday and was freaking awesome!

I'd hate to admit it but im a TM fan boy! Never owned an MP5 but i can tell you all TM RIFs i have come across have been very reliable! you may not got the full metal like with ICS and CA but for reliablity purposes i'd go TM

please don't mock my TM fan boy-ness  :P

The Gearbox / M733 Commando...
« on: September 02, 2010, 01:55:16 pm »
Hi Guys Im not selling but looking for advice. I am thinking of selling my TM M733 Commando but not sure whats its worth really...

* M733 Rifle
* Forgrip Rail (Stock foregrip but has a rail on underside. Mini Bat will not fit in foregrip now though unless you remove rail)
* New inner barrel (6.03mm Tight Bore)
* Custom fitted 'Systema' metal hop unit
* Carry handle rail adapter (allows you to put scope/aimpoint ect on it)
* Rear sling mount at base of stock (works well with 3 point sling)
* Stock internals (1J upgrade when purchased with metal bushings ect also never broken and very reliable)
* Replaced body pins with screw pins
* 305-315fps using 0.20g 6mm ammo

I have had it for a while now and its probably my best RIF but am looking for something new

Thanks guys and gals.

Games and Gaming / Steam
« on: August 23, 2010, 12:50:02 pm »
Hi guys its been a while since I have checked out the forum  but just noticed this fantasic new section 'Games and Gaming'

I have abandoned consols and have, as always, used my PC for gaming. I notice thats there is no mention of Steam or a Steam topic on here which is a bit dissapointing, except those of you saying "I'm getting it off Steam laterz" ect...

Would anyone consider posting thier Steam name so we can add each other as friends!

I play alot of CS:S and other FPS games

Thanks guys

PS Obviously for security reasons if feel posting your Steam ID on here is a bit silly then don't worry, I will creat a group for us to join and then add friends that way.

Thanks again  :D

Thanks for the replies guys but like i said i wasnt using it as an accurate measure of fps... just to know whether is was firing way to hot or not and if so preparing myself to cut the spring after chrono at next game.... I wouldnt dream of using it as an accurate measurement.

Now before I start, can i just make it clear that I do not plan on using this to detirmine a an accurate reading. I will only use it to gauge if im firing well over the limit or well under.

I have found this on the internet while i was looking as chronos. Has anyone used this method and if so did you find it worked?

Its purly for my new M60 Mk43. I have an M733 which i know is firing at 310-320 fps and has been for the last 3 trips to DV so i will also use it to compare to the mk43.

Just wondering if anyone has used it before. Thanks

"There are six ranges of penetration on a Coke can. In order of difficulty they are:
One Side…………….290+FPS
Both Sides…………..340+FPS
Bottom Center………385+FPS*
Bottom Edge………...450+FPS
Top Center…………..470+FPS
Top Edge……………500+FPS

do not hold the can
align the muzzle of your gun 1-2 inches from the surface of the can

*According to ******* ******* this area is penetrated at 430FPS. However, in my testing, and that of others, we can consistently penetrate this area of a can at a minimum of 385fps."

Indeed so did I! I was the one who managed to sneak around the back of the cave and BANG 4 blues! "BANG" "BANG" "BANG" "BANG" all in turn.... I just couldnt belive it... I think it was that that gave us the extra 21 seconds  :P

Isn't 6.04mm considered a tightbore anyway?

6.04 is standard for me  :P

Who wants to live forever...?

It began as a headline in a tabloid newspaper "SCIENCE CLOSE TO THE SECRET OF YOUTH". After a number of years people noticed that leaders and famous people around the world didn't seem to be getting any older and started to look more youthful. When Stallone released ROCKY 12 and Katie Price divorced her 19th husband some people decided enough was enough and decided to help nature run her course!

does that mean we get to hunt Ms Price down? If so does this mean that there will be some busty babe walking around the site or will it be one of us with our moobs half out!?  :giggedy:

Good plan, let us know how it goes  :giggedy: There was a guy taking pics most of the day! he took a few of me in the first and second game and also he was happy snapping throughout the briefing at the start from above
