General Discussion / Re: A&K M249

To be fair, the bipod on my CA M249 was exactly the same- you only had to look at it and it would spring to attention...

No wait, that sounds dodgy...

That charge was hilarious- you ran straight into me and 2  of my team mates. I emptied a whole mid cap into the lot of you! Utter carnage.  :D

For me that was one of the best DVs in a long time. No evidence of cheating, good sportsmanship and some great games.

I think the idea of using 3 teams was really well done. It was a clever idea to make the 3rd team much smaller and then use them to shore up which ever of the other teams was struggling. I think it really worked very well. It meant that there were always plenty of targets to shoot for us reds

I was particularly impressed with the final game of the day. I dont usually enjoy regen games (hence why DV is my fave site) but this one worked great. Restricting the site to the bottom half was  a great idea and meant there was some huge tense gun fights with loads of casualties and the site felt that it played in a completely different way to usual. My only suggestion would be to rethink the flag areas as it meant that it got a little concentrated towards the path.

Also thanks for the fireworks display. I didn't get to go to a display this year due to my son teething and being under the weather,  so it was a great treat for me. Made my weekend.  :)

Nearly all our team either use the G18C AEP or the DE USP AEP. They havent got the satisfaction of a nice metal slided GBB, but in their defence they are more accurate, more reliable and can fire full auto! I love mine.

Haha yes you guys were the sacrificial victims to make us Rebels feel that we had waited 3 hours doing nothing for a reason. To say that the Rebels had smelt blood when you arrived was an understatement! I felt sorry for you all.  :D

We sat out half the night game and watched the rugby sat in the camp site on a little LCD tv. The highlight of the weekend.

I fired 200 rounds between 1pm and 9pm.

50 of those were at some mushrooms and 50 at a wasps nest.

Piss poor.

No it was terrible apart from about 2 hours of fun on Sunday morning.

I saw some posters for this on the drive back from TA5.

I am wondering if I would have had more fun looking at action men than I did at TA5.

Its not difficult, just odd that Ultimate Airsoft who run the old Black Ops site have made no announcement of this on their web site or forum.

Not wanting to be a worry warts, but it all seems slightly dodgy to me. Mind you the legislation, like much of Nu Labours output, is poorly thought out and badly worded and pretty much easy to drive a bus through.

How do they verify that you are a legitimate player?

Im intrigued by this too.
They dont run the Thornbury site anymore, unless Ultiamte Airsoft have given them copies of their bookings. Then again, Fuzzy doesnt play at UA (as far as I know) so not sure that could be the case.

Very odd.
