The Gearbox / Re: PROBLEM ares scar!!!!!
« on: May 02, 2010, 08:05:53 am »
Hi, i used to have the SCAR H and had the same problem fella

I take it you mean the BB's are getting stuck in the open section at the rear of the gear box where you can see the spring?

When it happens the SCAR will do nowt like the Batts gone dead, as long as you know the batts good strip it down ASAP

Two things you can try, Get some gaffa tape and cover it over the open section but make sure you pull it tight so it doesn't snag on the spring

2nd when you put your mags in make sure the SCAR is in the Horizontal that stops the odd bb rlling back inside the spring guide, we found when you do a John Wayne reload ( SCAR Butt on hip barrel pointed skyward ) thats when it normally happened.

Its a comman problem but the above worked for me

Longmoor: Jeff if you went there i'd advise youto organise your own games, Charlies are somewhat laking in excitement after around 5 mins. Its a cracking site if you know how to play CQB and for the small in stature they can drag them selves into the tunnels.

SPEC OPS: Hunter, any way you can prove this claim of excessive FPS, other than i know a mate of a mate, video proof photo of chrono? I know plenty of folk who have played at SPec Ops and never heard that one! and you running to the police would just as likley get airsoft in the papers for the wrong reasons, and at the moment with two recent deaths of kids... not a good move

UCAP: great site for a day out always enjoy playing there, am down there at least once a month now due to work, and one of the best run sites i've been to

If you want a decent game day, why not look at getting Sennybridge? prob the best site going for a decent days fun

Get a helmet cam like mine and you can use a torch ris mount ... from there it will fit on all aeg's and then you can use a bit of old RIS on yer lids as well also have a lookback mount and swivel mount

Cable ties are the way to go if your using a big DV cam less damaging to the surface of the camera than the adhesive on the tape

Where as some of you tried to sensibly debate the various merits of super hero prowess ( we all did at Infant school mind ) ... my response was shall we say aimed at the more pisstake approach :P
