Don't get me wrong , I was involved in some absolutely corking fire fights that i realy enjoyed (especialy the one were i found my self behind a group of yellows with my 429 , and them screaming  "we're yellow !" To me as I hosed them , then smugly showed them my red arm band ! :laughsoutloud:) but I felt things kept getting bogged down due to having on going fire fights in all different directions , but as you said Oll it was a valuable learning experience for you so there's plenty off good that came out of the day .

Quick post to say thanks to the DV staff for yet another good game day, I only have 1 reservation which is I think 5 teams may be too many, mainly as there was so much going on at any one time it was too much to take in at some points, and most of us resorted to just shooting the others.
the team leader truce match was a good idea, being the red team captain I must pass my thanks to the guy who naded me and caused about 5 mins of hearing loss (we kissed and made up after so alls good) and also pass thanks to the green team for breaking the  ceasefire early!
But all in all another cracking day out, some epic kills too!!
I see your opinion of the day has improved since we left then ?

Any way have to say not that good a day for me , I don't think five teams worked , maine point i picked up from what I saw of the day was due to the teams starting from five different points around the site the games kept bogging down and then breaking up with random fire fights going on in all different directions , just didn't seem to be able to move on to the objectives , the games just seemed disjointed , though I will say good effort to Jim he was with the reds and he tried his hardest to keep things going (and keep our motivation going) . Was good seeing every one again , on the social side was a cracking day (but it usually is at DV , very very rarely its not a great atmosphere on the day) .  Game play wise , not so good organising airsofters is like trying to corral cats ,
Like I said though give the staff there dues they did try there damnedest to make it work , but my personal opinion is five teams was just too many .

Last game arrived around 08.45ish , and a young marshal came up to the car and said "you have to go up to the gate and book in" so start walking up (as did half a dozen or so other cars) just about at the roundabout in front of the gate and some one shouts "convoy in" so have to peg it back down the hill to the car ! I'm too old for this exercise malarkey at the best of time but definitely NOT just after a McDonalds breakfast :puke: :D
