Dragon Valley / New Dates?
« on: April 15, 2016, 09:35:57 pm »
Is there any idea of when the next game/batch of dates will be or is it just down to when the MOD want to play ball? Unfortunately had to miss the 10th April game due to university and work etc. so hopefully the wait is not too long!

He'll be coming along with me, I've made sure he's not going to be a member of the white trainer brigade :tu:

The Gearbox / Gun Service

It has been many a moon since I last went airsofting and my AEG's have been subject to some neglect over the years of my hiatus (one of which I broke in an attempt to fix). I am looking for a kind Samaritan who will service two of my guns, I'm pretty sure all they need is some nice and clean new sodders on the deans connectors and a bit of TLC.

The first is a G&G R4 Commando, which is functionally fine (I think) and just needs the wires stripped and re-soldered for the battery connectors. Why not do this myself you ask? I am thoroughly incompetent with a soldering iron as you will see from the woeful attempt I made myself.

The second is a KA SR-15, this is the one that is in need of attention the most. To put it short, I have no idea what is wrong with it. I can only assume it is once again my dodgy soldering and failure of an attempt at crimping on a spade connector.

I am happy to pay for your labour, but as a result of me being clueless I have no idea what price to offer. If you wish to ascertain legendary status (in my books, other people may vary) then reply here with a quote or PM me. I live in Cardiff and am happy to drop them anywhere within that area.

I'm making my return to DV on the 20th March so if it is possible to get the work done by then that'd be great.

(I'm not 100% certain on where this thread should go so feel free to move it to where appropriate)

For the stock, if there's nothing mechanical in there and it's just an empty space you could just shot some expanding foam in there. If it expands out of the holes then sand it down to the correct size then apply a small amount of filler on top of the foam. As for the threading, just try and look for your nearest metal works shop, they're bound to have some kind of threading tool.

WG trying to cover up their antics again, remember that 300 gold change your password event? Well this is why, this is from a friend of mine who has a registered account on the RU server;

"Dear Adolf_Bimler,

during the last inspection by the security company Wargaming incident was identified as a result of which some of your personal information could be jeopardized. We immediately launched an investigation into the incident and at the moment we can assure you that the financial information of accounts was not affected. However, to date, we have reason to believe that your e-mail address and password in an encrypted form might be exposed to intruders."

Basically they told RU they cocked up, but didn't tell EU, NA or SEA but instead launched the 300g to change your password event in an attempt to get people to change their password... nice one WG... nice one...

Ever since Overlord left for WoWWP WoT has taken a 180 turn for the shitter now that SerB has taken over. He is constantly making fun of people who say he is turning a blind eye to the Russian favoritism, I mean when Overlord was around the T-50-2 was scheduled to be sent to the scrap yard due to it being COMPLETELY FAKE but now for some reason SerB is thinking it's real and does not need to be removed. And don't even get me started on the KV-1S....

Well i have a few researched but unsure as to which one i should buy.

Foch 155

or should i spend the cash on a few tier 9's

Centurion MK7
Lorraine 40t

The Mk7 is a brilliant tank, has the same gun as its father but in T9. Plus it looks the shit with metal storage thing on the back of the turret.

Well funny you should say that , first time I went to LA couple of years ago I went to the Evike shop . while having a looking around they had on display an M4 that was hooked up to a 12v battery and had a beta Cmag stuck in it ! :| SO while looking at said monstrosity a young sales man comes bouncing up to me and says "ah yes that's a great gun , would you like to try it?" Now being the polite british person that I am and he looked all excited at the prospects of a nice big sales bonus I calmly said "oh go on then !" He got it down we went over to the side of the shop (not even a range or any thing ! :x) where I proceeded to shred the s**t out of a big cardboard transport box !  :aeg: was fun BUT wouldn't fancy meeting one in a game !

California , 450fps full auto allowed  :roll:

What makes me laugh even more, they all run stupidly high rounds per second and have ult0r high caps and just sit there on full auto spraying with their titchy Airsoft GI  custom M4 CQB pistol hooked up to a car battery. Don't forget the mountain dew in the hydration carrier, infact not even a hydration carrier, one of these;

This is America, so they were probably running something ridiculous like 500fps
