I've just thought of something.

I work at a petrol station and I make a point of asking customers with any articles of clothing that conceal thier faces to remove such items. Mostly common ones being balaclavas, scarfs, hoods etc. For the reason that when I used to work afternoon shifts from 3pm - 11pm on a good night I would take £5000/£6000 cash in 8 hours.

Now did any of the mcdonalds staff tell such a person to remove thier offending clothing? Purely on the principle of that yes, this guy was indeed harmless but you can't count on the next person who does this being alike. It sounds stupid, but imagine how much cash the particular mcdonalds takes. Surely someone would want to look after thier workmates and thier own safety.

Good point but no, no one was asked to take anything off

Sorry Desert Dude, you misunderstood me, I wasn't accusing you of picking on anyone, just that the point did need airing and discussing as a wide audience need to understand the issues and what's at stake.

 In that case i am sorry for acusing you for acusing me  :laughsoutloud: I just think it was at points going a bit of subject as a discussion

Which is all good, so lesson learnt and he won't do it again. That's the result that I'm sure everyone is happy with.

The purpose of the thread I think should be more to make others aware that this is not a wise thing to do than to keep bashing the same couple of individuals.

Agreed

I think the point is so the message reaches the wider audience, not to keep on picking on an individual. That said, maybe the point has been made clear enough now.

I wasn't picking on an individual as they are a friend of mine and i was there and all I was saying is that we did have our talks then and this i find, not insulting but more towards pointless as this individual being a bit silly may find it a bit as he did feel bad after having a serious chat.

I imagine they would have a sense of humour failure if they'd come all the way from London :P  (CO19 is the Met-specific firearms unit)

In all seriousness, as a previous poster said, if you can't take tac-gear off due to space contraints (which I find a little hard to believe but whatever), chuck a civvy jacket on over it!

For your information there wan't any space, but thanks for the input

I understood what was being said last night but tbh it was last night and we all had our talks then etc.. I really don't see much point in this, even tho ? was a bit silly doing so he had his talking to then and thier and i explained in the car home to ? what it may look like to public as its threatening as the public can't see your face incase Druid's point wasn't made. Airsoft is on the border lines and Druid i know why you flipped as you and all of us on the forums want to keep it going and some acts of the smallest things, like last night could potentially ruin what we love as a sport.
