Thankyou for the messages.  I did in fact know them all, but as the saying goes "life must go on".  None of them would want us moping about up here, and for that reason, i still intend to come on Sunday.  (Providing the funeral is not on)

to put it simply, even in my very first day at DV, with my Single Shot weapons, i still went through about 3000 rounds.

Well, a 9mm sim-munition round does not hurt much more than a 6mm bb, even though it fires at one hell of a greater FPS.

A Sim-Munition round is fired from a normal 9mm cartridge.  A 5.56 was also developed, but is not used in cqb training due to the smaller surface area and the larger cartridge (more pressure).

(i do not own or want to bring the site into disrepute over this matter, i just felt this point needed to be put forward.)

General Discussion / Re: Cheating

i quite like DV, but in the old site, i did notice quite a few players that i had hit, were going to the safe zone, and coming out the back........

Fortunatly tho, the TCI was awsome, and i did not notice cheating. (if the site and rules are still the same as the TCI then cheating should not b a problem)  sorry i cannot give up to date, i have not been back to DV since TCI - DAMN WORK

"So, if someone was to buy and use a two tone, become a member of the UKARA a couple of months down the line, then could you spray over the two tone or would that still be illegal?"

yes, it would be illegal, however it is not illegal to have it done by a shop (i think zero one does it).  it is also not illegal to replace the two tone parts with RIF parts (even if u do not hold a license [loophole])

General Discussion / Re: Radio advice

actually, if u go to maplin, they sell the adapters to most radios.  u should be able to get a plug n play adapter there. (or buy any radio, and i could make the headset compatible)

lol, as i said, i found a permanent solution to my problems.  i opened the mag, and cleaned it fully, i then put it back together and sprayed a silicon lubricant (really glutenous, like a grease, did not work initially, but over a few reloads, the grease got worked in) and the problem has not reared its ugly head again. current usage 6 full mags...

if u can, buy the ICE goggles / sunglasses, they are really good, and designed to allow use with the Sight Unit Small Arms Trilux (SUSAT), and give ballistic protection.
