Well you older gamers will remember this game as a little known gem from sirtec.

Its a old game but with a very committed following which have kept it alive for nearly 20 years.

They have released patch 1.13 for it now and OMG its whole new game, hundreds of weapons and mods, all modern day inc the Scar, tons of new armours,LAW's and rpgs by the dozen,8 flavours of mortar ammo and you creat 4 custom merc instead of one.

Also a graphic upgrade to 800x600

Best of all the patch is free  :bravo:
If you like turn based strag games play it now- :gbb: what are you waiting for!!!!

Sign up here if you are planning on turning up.

At this time of year it goes towards toys to give to the children in Hospital over Christmas. We have called themto let them know about the ammount you have raised and are waiting for a phone call giving us a shopping list.

Merry Christmas

Dragon Valley / 16th Oct

Well what a interesting day for us..

Once again i sorry for the delay getting into site this morning, it was totally out of our hands.
From what we have found out since is that it was a bit of the left hand not knowing what the right was doing and a simple "no one without the correct auth gets though the gate" became "no one comes though the gate period".

I would like to thx the players for thier understanding and allowing me to do the briefing in the carpark to save time and to my staff for putting up with me stressed off my face and them working hard to get us back on track time wise.

Finally to my wife whos knowledge of the inner workings of the MOD and her friends in landmarc & sennybridge got us passed the black gates of mordor in the morning!!!

Regards

Jeff

Now i have your attention,
Morgan is doing a sponsored underwater treasure hunt to raise money for Tommys the childrens charity. Tommys goal is to reduce the incidence of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth which cause so much suffering to more than a quarter of all parents across the UK. Tommys believes that disseminating information can help to minimise the risks inherent in pregnancy whilst medical research will increase our understanding of the fundamental causes and hence lead to identifying those most at risk and treating them.

Please go to http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/MorganShaw to see my fundraising page and sponsor me online.
Otherwise my daddy will stop fixing your guns

Kind regards

Morgan Shaw

General Discussion / Can i trust you?

I love my Email]]]

Jeff

Can i trust you?

Hello,
How are you today.
My name is Gerry Gilsenan. I am a war veteran with the United Nations troop in Afghanistan, on war against terrorism. I served in the 1st Armoured Division in Kabul. Based on the United States legislative and executive decision for withdrawing troops from Iraq. I have been redeployed to come and work in Kabul on the platform of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Our mission is to help beef up terrorist targeted states, mostly the United States and the European Union on the war against terrorism.
On the other hand, I want to inform you that I and my partner (Trooper James Anthony Leverett) have the sum of 16.2million USD, which we got from a crude oil deal in Iraq before he was killed by an explosion while on a vehicle patrol. Due to this incident, I want you to receive these funds on my behalf as far as I can be assured that my share will be safe in your care until I complete my service here and come over to meet with you. Since we are working here on an Official capacity, I cannot keep these funds hence my contacting you.
I guarantee and ensure you that this is a  risk free deal. I want you to know that we have successfully moved these funds out to Europe with the help of a Red Cross agent and it was deposited to a bank of which the deposit receipts have been forwarded to me.
I will personally authorize the bank to transfer the funds to you upon the declaration of your assistance. I just need your acceptance and all is done. Since the death of my partner, my life is not guaranteed here anymore, so I have decided to share these funds with a reliable and trusted person than the funds lodging in the bank for no interest.
I want you to tell me how much you will take from this money for the assistance you will give to me. One passionate appeal I will make to you is not to discuss this matter with anybody, should you have reasons to reject this offer, please and please destroy this message as any leakage of this information will be too bad for us as soldiers here in Afghanistan. I do not know how long we will remain here, and I have been shot, wounded and survived so many suicide bomb attacks thankfully, this and other reasons I will mention later have prompted me to reach out for help, I honestly want this matter to be resolved immediately, please contact me as soon as possible on my e-mail address which is my only way of communication.
Regards,
Sgt. Gilsenan

Dragon Valley / June 12th No shows
« on: June 13, 2011, 11:55:56 am »
Hi everyone

Just to say thxs to everyone who did brave the elements yesterday and played well and without trouble though the day.

We had 45 no shows which is unaceptable as only 20 of you took the trouble to let us know you were not coming after looking out your bedroom window and thinking "screw that"at 7am before the game but at least you did something
.
The 25 people who didnt show and didnt bother to let us know will be getting a email in a few hours giving them a warning and 5 people which its the 3rd time booking on and reserving a rental will be told not to bother coming again  or booking on as the booking will be cancelled and you will turned away at the desk and escorted off site if you come on to the field.

If you turned up and we were not on site cause it was wet then you would annoyed with good reason so when you book on your making a pledge to us that you will be there unless theres a good reason and in return we book marshalls, the site, food,bb's,write the event and get the place ready.

Dragon Valley / Sad News
« on: April 26, 2011, 07:04:17 pm »
Today we found out the sad news that one of our players was killed in a road traffic accident whilst working on the M4 as a recovery driver on the 26th April.

Richard Cox came to the site frequently and was a honest player who always had a smile and hello for everyone. Richard leaves behind his wife, 3 year old daughter and a step son; he will be missed not only by his family but all those friends at Dragon Valley.

We will be sending flowers and our condolances to the family. We have no idea of funeral arrangements at this time.

Here is a link to the BBC news article about the crash, it includes a picture of Richard for those better with faces than names. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-13191757

So if your missing a camera and a mp3 player or know anyone who is and tell me the make and what footage is on the SDcards plz mail me.
