The Gearbox / M14 EBR STRIPPER CLIP MOUNTING RAIL
« on: February 18, 2011, 04:27:17 pm »
Hi all,

I've found a rail section which fits into the stripper clip guide on my M14 EBR:

www.sageinternationalltd.com/si/access/ebr.html

But it's pretty expensive for a piece of metal, and it's in the U.S (so I'll have to pay for shipping etc.).

Anyone know of an airsoft alternative for this part, ideally from a U.K seller?

Thanks!

The Gearbox / My new MAGPUL / VLTOR M4 Sentry
« on: June 28, 2010, 10:47:07 am »
I just thought I'd post a pic up of my new accessorised little monster. Can't wait to use it.. I think it should be just under 350fps.

Also, I have a Magpul body to fit, but I don't have the time (or possibly the skill) to do it... Can anyone recommend where I can get it done, without having my gun ruined?

Thanks guys!!

The Gearbox / Scope Mounting Help!!
« on: May 04, 2010, 09:12:28 pm »
Alright guys,

I've just got a scope for my new EBR, but I'm having a little trouble fitting it how I need it.

As it stands at the moment, I've got the scope rings positioned as far apart from eachother as possible and mounted as far back on the RIS as possible (as you can see):

But...

The whole scope seems to sit much too far forward.

I can get close to a comfortable eye relief if I retract the stock almost completely inward, but if I do this it's not too comfortable, plus there's too much weight too far forward and it's upsetting the balance of the weapon.

In the youtube video which was posted by Airsoft GI a while back it shows the scope mounted like this...

just in front of the rear sight on this area...

Do I need some sort of adaptor to mount the rear scope ring here, or am I just being stupid and missing something really obvious??

Help!!

The Gearbox / G&G M14 EBR Long Barrel
« on: March 17, 2010, 01:33:48 pm »
Hi all,

What are your thoughts on this new offering from G&G (known, by them, as the GR14 H.B.A.-L)?

Also, any recommendations for suppliers to (or in) the U.K?

Hi guys,

Me and the boys came down today for our first (of many) airsoft game.
We had a great time dripping with sweat in the amazing weather we had all day. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for a great day.... But maybe I need to change my MP5 for something with alot more range next time... Any ideas?!  :aeg:
